וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֞ל שָׁמְע֣וּ לֵאמֹ֗ר הִכָּ֤ה שָׁאוּל֙ אֶת־נְצִ֣יב פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וְגַם־נִבְאַשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיִּצָּעֲק֥וּ הָעָ֛ם אַחֲרֵ֥י שָׁא֖וּל הַגִּלְגָּֽל׃
און גאַנץ ישׂראל האָבן געהערט, אַזױ צו זאָגן: שָאול האָט געשלאָגן די װאַך פֿון די פּלשתּים, און ישׂראל האָט זיך אױך פֿאַרמיאוסט בײַ די פּלשתּים; און דאָס פֿאָלק האָט זיך אײַנגעזאַמלט הינטער שָאולן קײן גִלגל.
II Samuel
